Jun 03, 2013 I bought a gently-used Savage Anschutz Model 54 Sporter at the beginning of this year, for $995 plus $30 shipping to our FFL. Savage had an importation deal with Anschutz from about 1964 to 1981. The only Savage aspect to it is their name stamped in the barreled receiver, and the drilled/tapped scope mounting holes (which are slightly different.
